Serge L. Lépine, Founder & Managing Partner

Serge has worked with sovereign wealth funds in the Middle East and Canada.

In the Middle East, Serge was latterly the founding CEO of QADIC, a US$2bn global investment platform jointly funded by Qatar Investment Authority and Mubadala; Chief Investment Officer for Mumtalakat (Bahrain) and had been appointed to senior roles at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and the Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC) establishing the co-investment and direct investment business units respectively.

Before relocating to the Gulf in 2004, Serge had been based in Asia since 1996 establishing the initial private equity operations of the Caisse de Dépot et Placement du Québec (CDPQ).

Serge’s early career encompassed working in Montreal for CDPQ as well as other leading Canadian financial institutions, focused on direct investment, mergers and acquisitions advisory and corporate finance.

Diana Reeves, Director

Diana has worked in senior roles encompassing corporate management, private equity, project finance, risk management and distressed companies.

She was a founding employee and SVP of Corporate Planning and Development at Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Company (ADBIC), a UAE state-owned entity established to secure funding for large domestic industrial operations.

Prior to this, based in Hong Kong, Diana guided the sale of a founder-owned business to a private equity buyer following five years working as a VP with GE’s Asia-Pacific Private Equity group overseeing various aspects of portfolio and risk management across the region.  Diana was initially posted to Asia whilst working with the UK’s Commonwealth Development Corporation, spending periods of time in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore as well as developing economies more widely, undertaking roles across the investment cycle.

Diana is a UK qualified Chartered Accountant having commenced her career specializing in corporate turnarounds with Arthur Andersen in London and has recently completed a Masters degree in International Development.
